Jamie Downer is a lifelong reader and writer who always has a book in her hand and a pen in her pocket. She has a BA in Creative Writing and has worked as a freelance editor for fourteen years, specializing in new authors writing fantasy and YA.
Though she has taken a meandering path when it comes to career (including work as a ministry coordinator, an intern with the United States Forest Service, an X-ray tech, a freelance editor, and a ghostwriter), her heart has always been in fiction and imaginative storytelling.
When not chasing creative pursuits, sheās chasing her three children, petting her angelic calico cat, or wrangling her whip-smart hellhound of a dog. She lives in Southwest Montana, with her husband and the rest of her motley crew.
