Stories have always been an important part of Jamie’s life, whether it was the magic of snuggling in for bedtime stories as a child or learning the skill of telling stories of her own.
Jamie graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Creative Writing and the desire to tell stories that reflected true things through the veil of fiction. Though she has taken a meandering path when it comes to career (including work as a ministry coordinator, an intern with the United States Forest Service, an X-ray tech, a freelance editor, and a ghostwriter), her heart has always been in fiction and imaginative storytelling.
She currently lives in Montana with her husband, their three children, an angelic calico, and a whip-smart hellhound.
